The Creation: For the Hermessence Musc Pallida, Christine Nagel imagined a sensual encounter between Iris Pallida, a precious material seen as the gold of the perfumery world, and caressing musk. Just as gold is shaped on contact with heat, so iris emerges with a supple elegance on contact with the musk. Having expressed Musc Pallida as both an Essence and a Crème de Parfum, Christine Nagel explores a new sensory dimension with this Eau de Parfum.

Olfactory Notes: Musc Pallida Eau de Parfum is musky and sensual, evoking the trace of a caress – of powdery Iris Pallida as it emerges on contact with warm musk. An Hermessence suitable for both men and women.

The Object: The bottle is highlighted by an orange-yellow lacquer on the bottom of the glass. The ivory-coloured Swift leather cap is top-stitched with an orange-yellow saddle stitch.

The Hermès Detail: The house’s emblematic “lantern” bottle constitutes a unique and timeless signature. Its leather cap with saddle-stitch signature is topped with an engraved Hermès saddle nail.

The Ethics: The 100 ml Hermessence bottles can be replenished using the 200 ml refill, sold separately.
